Upload and manage documents - DekaSign

List/read with GET /api/v1/documents and /documents/{id} using documents:read. Results are limited to the app.

Upload

POST /api/v1/documents requires documents:write, an idempotency key, and multipart form-data:

file: exactly one PDF, maximum 25 MB, 1–200 pages.
logicalPurpose: ATTACHMENT (default) or SIGNATURE_TARGET.

Store secret environment variables securely on your server. This API does not accept PPTX/images even though the review UI supports them. Capacity exhaustion may return UPLOAD_BUSY with Retry-After.

Delete

DELETE /documents/{id} requires documents:delete, an idempotency key, and a JSON reason of 5–500 characters. Only eligible unused documents can be deleted; submitted/signed evidence is protected. For layout use the hosted editor; for invitations use preview and send.
